Multi Hand Blackjack by Naive Code · Last updated 2 September 2026
This policy describes what information the Multi Hand Blackjack app ("the app") collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. The app is a free, play-money blackjack game. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no in-app purchases.
Information collected by the developer
The app does not ask you for, and Naive Code does not directly collect, any personally identifying information. There is no registration, no login, and no contact form. Your game progress, chips, statistics and settings are stored on your device.
Device backup
The app takes part in Android's built-in backup service, which is switched on by default on most devices. That means a copy of your game data — chips, statistics and settings — is kept in your own Google account, so your progress can be restored when you reinstall the app or move to a new phone.
That backup belongs to you, not to the developer: it is held under your Google account, Naive Code cannot read it, and it is covered by Google's own terms. You can turn the backup off, or delete what is stored, from your device's Android settings under Settings → Google → Backup. Uninstalling the app removes the copy on your device, but a previous backup may still exist in your Google account until you delete it.
Information collected by third-party services
The app includes third-party software development kits (SDKs) from Google that collect data automatically. These are listed in full below.
| Service | Data collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (with the Google User Messaging Platform) |
Advertising ID, device identifiers, IP address, device model and OS version, ad interaction and viewing data | Selecting, delivering, capping and measuring the rewarded video ads shown in the game, and recording your advertising consent choices |
| Google Analytics for Firebase | Firebase app instance ID, in-app events (such as rounds played and rewards claimed), device model, OS version, language, and approximate region derived from IP address | Understanding how the game is used so it can be improved |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash logs and stack traces, Crashlytics installation identifier, device model, OS version, app configuration, and the time of the crash | Diagnosing and fixing crashes |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging | Firebase registration token and installation ID | Delivering optional notifications about the game |
| Firebase In-App Messaging | Firebase installation ID and in-app events | Showing occasional messages inside the app |
| Firebase Remote Config | Firebase installation ID | Delivering configuration values, such as checking whether a newer app version is available |
Advertising and the advertising ID
The app shows rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. To do this it accesses your device's advertising ID (the Google Advertising ID, or AAID) — a resettable identifier provided by Android specifically for advertising. The advertising ID is used to select and measure ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, and, where you have consented, to personalise the ads you are shown.
You can reset your advertising ID, or delete it entirely, at any time from your device's Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads. Deleting it does not stop ads from appearing, but it does prevent them from being personalised.
How information is shared
Naive Code does not sell your information and does not share it with anyone other than the service providers listed above. The data described in the table is collected by and shared with Google, acting as the provider of AdMob and Firebase, for advertising, analytics, crash reporting and messaging purposes. Google's own handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Information may also be disclosed if required to do so by law, or in response to a valid request from a public authority.
Your choices
- Advertising consent. Where required by law — for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — the app asks for your consent before requesting personalised ads. You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options inside the app, where this option is shown.
- Advertising ID. Reset or delete it from your Android settings, as described above.
- Notifications. Notifications are optional. You can decline the permission when it is requested, or turn notifications off later in your device's app settings.
- Stopping all collection. Uninstalling the app ends all data collection by the app and deletes the game data stored on your device.
Data retention and deletion
Game progress is held on your device, and in your own Google account if Android backup is enabled, as described above. Data collected by the Google services listed above is retained by Google according to its own retention schedules; Naive Code holds no separate copy of it and no user accounts to delete. Because the app collects no personally identifying information, there is no account or profile that can be identified and erased on request. If you have a question about your data, you can contact us using the details below.
Security
Data transmitted by the app to the services listed above is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children's privacy
This app contains simulated gambling, is rated Teen, and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has been using this app, please uninstall it and contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and take effect as soon as they are posted.
